How to Help The Mills Archive Trust

Spread the word

Join us! As a recently formed Trust, one of the first ways you can help us is to spread the word.

Do you know other people who are interested in:

  • traditional mills and milling
  • historical and contemporary material
  • records of UK mills, millers and millwrights?
  • joining our expert group of advisers?
If so, why not encourage them to come and visit this website?

Financial Support

Can you help us by making a donation? Did you know that if you are a UK taxpayer you can make your donations worth almost a third more at no extra cost to yourself by indicating you wish us to apply for Gift Aid for your donation?

Making a donation

  • Complete a cheque or postal order payable to "The Mills Archive Trust"
  • Send it with your contact details to us at the address below (all donations are acknowledged and we treat your details as confidential)
  • Send us an email providing your name and postal address and indicating you want any donations to be regarded as Gift Aid (you don't need to sign a form if we have an email on file!)
  • Alternatively consider regular donations, either through a
    • Payroll Giving scheme, if your employer runs one, or by
    • Completing the standing order form we can provide
