Built 1829, demolished circa 1958. Had ceased work by 1926. Remains on the ground, including the centre post and crowntree, survived into the 1960’s. A tarred post mill with four spring sweeps that rotated anti-clockwise. Leading boards covered the inner six bays of the eight-bay sweeps. There was a small window in the left side of the breast wall and only one other window, in the top of the tail wall. The side walls had shuttered openings. There was a wooden roundhouse and the mill was winded by tailpole. There were two pairs of millstones driven by head and tail wheels. A wire machine in the tail was driven by belt from a shaft driven from the cogs/teeth of the tail wheel and extending rearwards from it. The stone floor was slightly lower behind the crown tree than in front of it.
