Mill Archive Thesaurus

The thesaurus extends the information in the Mills Archive Glossary by placing words and phrases in a framework of synonyms and foreign language translations as well as broader and narrower terms. This framework is used whenever the catalogue is searched.

Whenever you search for an expression, the thesaurus checks for synonyms (and translations) and searches for them at the same time. For example a search for “mill stone” will also search for “millstone” and “meule”.
